Tothill House is set in 12 acres of outstanding natural beauty, with its own private woodland which you are welcome to explore. All the rooms at this tranquil location have stunning views out to the New Forest, over open heath land and then the Purbeck hills - on a clear day you can see Old Harry's Rock and the solent on the horizon.
On the Southern fringes of the New Forest, Tothill house offers traditional Bed and Breakfast in a unique setting, Tothill House was originally built for Vice-Admiral Michael Culme-Seymour, Fourth Baronet and the rooms today still hold the majestic character and mood from the early 20th century, with the modern luxuries and furnishings of today.

Burley village is only 5 minutes away where you have a choice of restaurants and pubs, you have the opportunity to sample New Forest Cider, enjoy a traditional forest cream tea, enjoy a summer deer safari or hire bikes to travel deeper into the National Park.
Bransgore is another delightful thriving village with post office,bakers, butchers, general store, bakers - everything you need to stock up for a New Forest picnic, as well as with a couple of lovely pubs that you may like to enjoy a local meal.
The New Forest Airfields Memorial is nearby, which commemorates the twelve airfields of the New Forest which played an important part in securing the eventual victory, in bringing home thousands of prisoners-of-war and service personnel, during and after the second world war.
Holmsley tea rooms situated in an old railway station along the Castleman’s Corkscrew. What was once part of Hampshire's oldest railway lines - is now a lovely walk incorporating a range of New Forest habitats.

Cross (Not Burley Street)
Take the Bransgore Road (Pound Lane) as far as Thorney Hill cross roads. Turn left into Forest Road, carry along the road until you reach Black Lane on your right - ours is the wooden gate on your right, opposite the blue gates, continue up the drive to the house. - Directions from A35
Follow A35 until you see the sign for Godwinscroft/Holmsley. Turn left if you are coming from Christchurch, right if you are coming from Lyndhurst.
Turn first right into Forest Road, carry along this road until you come to a cattle grid. Immediately after crossing the cattle grid turn left into Black Lane, carry along the lane past the New Forest Airfields Memorial, ours is the wooden gate on your left, opposite the blue gates, continue up the drive to the house.
